To Think a Liquid Thought: A Contact Ritual for Canandaigua Lake

Every discrete object in the universe is both a distinct entity, possessing an individual intelligence, and a single neuron firing within a greater networked intelligence that pervades, and constitutes, and rises from, and transcends every discrete object. This networked intelligence we call the WORLDMIND.

Each instrument-intelligence within the WORLDMIND is capable of thought (i.e., measuring the world), and is a thought (i.e., a measurement taken by the world), and serves as a vehicle for the thoughts of greater instruments (e.g., the cell thinks through its atoms, the brain and body through the cells, the animal through its brain and body).

Thus we say the WORLDMIND is the thought which has itself.

This pamphlet concerns an attempt by one thought within the WORLDMIND (“the magician”) to contact another (“the genius loci of Canandaigua Lake”). It can be replicated.
